what size do you go up to?

As all our garments are made to measure, we have no limitations in size, applying to all our garments not just the wedding dresses!.. We can literally cater from aged 6 months old up to any physical size. In fact, many of our customers, become loyal customers once they find us (see our loyalty scheme).

Our ability to dress all shapes and sizes makes us leaders in personal styling. We also hold an equal opportunities policy, ensuring the utmost regard to our outsized, minority, gay and transgender communities.

how much are your dresses?

As our designs are unique and all the dresses are made with you in mind, people expect our dresses to be expensive. Our customers have responded positively implying they are actually highly competitive and in line with all others shops in the area.

We cut out the designer fee and go straight to our manufacturer, which makes a custom design far more affordable.

wedding dress prices in store range from £500 up to £1200

(this does not include sample dresses sold 'off the peg', where even more savings can be made)

Here are the price ranges for other items in the shop;

  • mother of the bride range from £200 to £600
  • bridesmaids & flowergirls from £150 to £250
  • Prom from £75 to £400

can you make a one off design?

Yes!! We can put our heads together to produce a unique one-off (prices vary, a full consultation would be required).

We can offer a totally bespoke gown made just for you.

can you copy a dress from another designer?

The simple answer is NO, we cannot copy, it is illegal to outright copy another designer. However, we may be able to work with your ideas and elements of existing designs you like, to create your own. Even better!!

do i have to make an appointment to come to the shop?

Our bridal appointments are one-to-one, so yes, it is advisable to book to avoid disappointment (especially at the weekends). We are, however, a shop in the town centre so we are always open for general trade.

how soon should i book my dress?

We welcome brides looking to book in advance, but we do need a minimum of 8-12 weeks to make a dress. We do, however, offer a fast track service; charged at £45 for orders rushed through at 4 weeks.

the dresses are made to measure, what happens if i gain/lose weight?

No problem! We personally alter the dress at a very small charge. However, we rarely need to alter dresses due to the accuracy of the measurements taken.

do you require a deposit?

If you would like to book a dress with us, we do require a deposit to book your design (the amount will depend on the cost of the dress). As a guide, we require £100 deposit on a wedding dress. After an initial deposit we can then offer an account option, where you can pay for your dress in instalments.

what can i expect at an appointment?

First thing is first... a cup of tea for the person who is accompanying you whilst viewing dresses!

After introductions and a briefing on your wedding details we then take you to; Our show room, it is nice and private, away from other customer's eyes (offering a truly one-to-one experience). Together, we view our current collection of approx 100 unique dresses available to try at your leisure.

We are on hand as stylists to offer advice and genuine assistance when deciding your ultimate dream dress. Offering assistance in choosing styles to suit your shape and figure, colour choices to suit your skin tone and advice on accessorising your dress from top to toe.

Once you decide on a design, we then work together to customise the dress to suit your own specification, consisting of colour, fabric and adornments on the dress. Once we are happy with the final product design, a deposit is placed to book the pattern and we arrange a date for you to come back approx 4 months before your wedding date to take all your measurements, so the dress can be made to measure.
